Cuba's Communist Party seeking out the youthCuba's Communist Party is meeting in Havana for its first National Conference, and getting young people involved in the affairs of the nation will be high on the agenda. For many young Cubans, Friday night was also the symbol that the revolution continues to live. Last year Raul Castro announced a series of reforms to privatise parts of the country's economy in order to foster growth. He also lamented the lack of young people in the government and spoke about the need for a generational change in a country whose top leadership is about 80 years old.
