EU moves to clean up e-wasteEurope's throw away culture is producing a mountain of electrical waste but from 2016, European Union countries will be required to recycle discarded appliances. From 2016 - for every hundred tonnes of electrical items put on the market during the previous three years member countries will have to collect and recycle 45 tonnes of e-waste.
